Taslimi Construction Company asked Architectural Woodworking Company and other mill workers to participate in this very large project. Most of the well-thought out details went to “the other guys.” They gave us the complex items with only vague details. The designer and architect had not developed information on how to create their ideas. “These areas are what we’ve reserved for you,” Taslimi told us, “the highly public premium space with some of the most complex details. They had saved the best for last!”
The piece de resistance was the 30-panel plasma jumbotron surrounded by wenge veneer “…that you have to complete in two weeks!” No mortal could have performed that feat, so our response was, “We’ll make it in four weeks,” and we delivered.
